More about me.

I am a self proclaimed jack-of-all-trades, master of none. Growing up in the Bay Area I was exposed to many different types of people and families, all rooted in their own traditions. While not having many traditions of my own, I became increasingly curious about what brings people together and how traditions are formed. I moved to New Orleans for school and fell even deeper into the role of the observer, trying to learn from everything around me. I found myself in one of the most culturally rich cities in the country and decided to study anthropology and design, two ways for me for me to live in tandem to the culture and traditions of the places and people I encountered. After graduating, I spent a year working in fine dining, a industry I had always considered to not have much humanity. Unsurprisingly, I was wrong, and instead I fell in love with it. Until this point, I had not considered that I could play a part in creating these traditions for people. It was here I learned memories are created through novelty and human connection, two things that have remained constant values in my life and my work.
